The Thousand Polleras (Traditional Dress) Parade is a folkloric and tourist attraction that has been held since the mid-2000s. It is held in the city of Las Tablas, Panama, in mid-January. The show is aimed at the whole family and attracts many tourists, both domestic and foreign.
This event brings together dozens of delegations from communities across the country. Each delegation brings folk music, and some also bring floats. In all these groups, women parade generally accompanied by gentlemen also dressed in the traditional attire.
